Soul Surfers technology delivers exceptional precision and strength. Using advanced 3D design and printing, Soul Surfers construction creates durable, high‑performance, and sustainable windsurf boards.

Step 1

The board is created in 3D manufacturing software. The rail is then 3D printed using r-PETG on a large volume 3D printer.

Step 2

The core is cut into one stringer and ribs, creating the so‑called fish core. This fish core is then machined from a paulownia plate which is laminated on both sides and vacuum bagged with bio‑epoxy and basalt fiber.

This method results in a very light and stiff core made from pure natural ingredients. No hazardous foam inside or no molds required.

Step 3

Once the basis is complete, the fin, mastbox and foot strap plugs are 3D printed and glued into the fish core.

The boxes and plugs will protrude the deck and will also be glued to the deck and bottom surface plates. This will result in an ultra strong finish of the components.

Step 4

After this step it is time to cut-out the bottom and deck. Both bottom and deck are made out of Paulownia which is single sided laminated with a layer of Basalt fiber. The 3D shapes are carefully translated into 2D to be able to use a CNC laser cutting machine to manufacture both.

The laser cutting machine prevents waste and is very precise with an ultra smooth finish for the cuts.
